This wine has a deep, dark red-black hue with a dense, pitch-black core, immediately signaling its intensity and structure. On the nose, expressive aromas of black cherries, blackcurrant and liquorice are infused with mint, trailed by notes of vanillin cedar and subtle earthy mocha, adding complexity and depth

The palate is medium-bodied and well-balanced, with rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruits framed by assertive, firm tannins. Mint, toasty vanillin cedar, and spice elements provide a layered backdrop. 

The finish is deliscious and of medium length, making this a bold, pleasing red with plenty of presence. Drink now for its generous fruit and structure, or cellar for a few more years to allow the tannins to soften further. Best enjoyed with robust fare such as grilled meats or rich casseroles.
