2025 Vintage Report

The growing season leading to vintage 2025 was one of the most challenging on record with an early budburst followed by frost, drought and consistent hot weather.

White varieties, particularly Riesling, were picked as early as January in some parts of the valley, showing bright natural acidity and intense flavour development. Pinot Gris in our Ladera vineyard was harvested two weeks earlier than in 2024. Red varieties followed through February and into early March.

While yields were well below average due to the dry conditions and localised frost impact, the 2025 vintage is expected to produce wines of purity, structure and strong ageing potential, with Riesling again standing out as a regional highlight.

Despite the adverse conditions, good vineyard practices and careful winemaking decisions have certainly paid off.
